fluffy
a cozy pixel cat that lives on your desktop
meet fluffy
fluffy is a tiny always-on-top desktop pet: a hand-pixeled cat sitting in a cozy animated scene, occasionally saying things in a speech bubble. It is an 8 MB native app (Tauri) for Windows and macOS, with a matching Android home-screen widget — and because the whole cat is a web page, it also runs right here in your browser:
hover for the swatch bar · hold the mouse down and stroke to pet · short click for a voice line · press b to change scenes
features
the cat
- three designs — classic, loaf, longhair — in ginger, gray, black, or snow
- stroke it and it leans into your hand, kneads its paws, squints happy eyes as hearts float up
- its eyes follow your cursor; a quick tap gets a voice line
- drag the window and it dangles from the scruff, swings, drops, and lands with a squash
the world
- three scenes: cozy room, starlit night, sunset meadow
- weather to match your mood — sunny, cloudy, rainy, or a sunshower with a rainbow
- living details: swaying trees, drifting clouds, twinkling stars, a passing butterfly
make it yours
- name your cat (fluffy, until you say otherwise)
- teach it your own voice lines
- everything lives in a little swatch bar that appears on hover
tiny by design
- ~8 MB native app; the Android widget is under 1 MB
- the widget follows the real time of day on your home screen
- no engine, no image files — every pixel drawn from character grids at runtime

macOS: build from source with npm install && npm run build (needs Rust) — same
codebase, same cat.
